“FAITH FOLLOWS the thing HEARD, and the thing heard is through the spoken word of Christ [Anointed one]” (Romans 10:17).
But “how will they hear without [someone] preaching?” (Romans 10:14).
That is why I will now tell you what my Father has helped me to see in the Bible, though I am nothing (2 Corinthians 4:13; Romans 10:10). As the Bible says, God chose “the foolish ones” and “the weak ones” and “the ones having been treated as nothing” (1 Corinthians 1:26-28).
My Lord, Jesus, assured: “MY SHEEP LISTEN to my voice” (John 10:27), “they WILL LISTEN to my voice, and they WILL BECOME one flock, one shepherd” (John 10:16). Therefore, the sheep will listen. Others will not (John 10:26; John 8:47).
What I have written “is NOT MINE, but belongs to him who sent me” (John 7:16). It was “GIVEN ME” (Ephesians 3:7).
LET THE LIGHT SHINE
God is the one who said: “LET THE LIGHT SHINE” (2 Corinthians 4:6).
God is the one who owns the Light and gives the Light; God is the source of all light. Holy ones are just Lamps whose responsibility is to SHINE THE LIGHT from God’s Word (Matthew 25:1, 5-7; Luke 12:35, 37-38).
God gave us the Light of the truth so that we shine it on everyone. He did not give us the Light of the truth so that we hide the Light that we have received (Matthew 25:25, 28, 30; Matthew 10:27-28), keep it hidden under the bed or in a drawer, no, we must shine the Light from God’s Word on all (John 8:12; John 9:5; Matthew 5:14-15; Acts 13:47; Acts 26:18; Ephesians 5:8-9; Philippians 2:15; 2 Corinthians 4:6; 1 Peter 2:9; Luke 11:33; Mark 4:21).
IT IS UNFAITHFULNESS TOWARD GOD IF WE HIDE THE LIGHT and thus “miss its purpose” (Amos 3:8; 2 Corinthians 6:1-2).
We exercise faith and therefore we speak (2 Corinthians 4:13; Romans 10:10).
